Singer Cat finished

Stitched just a little over a year ago. I never got around to actually finishing it the way I thought was worthy calling finished. It really didn´t look right to me when I framed it. So I 'unframed' it and thus it ended up in my WIP-box for quite some time.

Upon going through my substantial WIP's one day I found this poor kitty longing for a proper finish.  Grabbing some yellow fabric to match the background of the stitching I simply thought I would just make my own frame then with help from my Singer sewing machine (though lucky for me its not an old one but a relatively new sewing machine). I thought of adding quilted kitties all along the fabric but reconsidered as it would probably become just a little too busy busy to my likings.

Add four buttons matching in colours used, a yellow ribbon to hang it from and voila, I have a finish! Sure thing I could've made something fancier, but hey. He's out of the WIP-box at least!
