Blue Moon Angel by Ammeih Blue Moon Angel by Ammeih
And she is finished~
After pushing it back soon as I got to the tedious part; that being the moon Free Avi - SleepingMoon , I still managed to finish it rather quickly if I do say so myself. I bought this marvelous Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum pattern off Ebay taking only a week to get to me from overseas it was well worth the money; she is heavenly! As are all of Marilynn's designs by the way. HeartHeart  I've completely fallen in love with her works, inadvertently causing me to start roaming Ebay for the patterns I love most and now being the lucky owner of several more future cross stitch projects! Also with thanks to another deviant art stitcher for introducing me to these wonderful patterns.

Startdate: 29th of April, finished 17th of June
Fabric: 32 count Zweigart linen
Size approx 30cm x 36cm or 12 by 14 inches

The Kreinik metallic gold thread I used for her robes and around her halo get a triple hurrah from me. So fun to work with, so sparkly and so...sparkly!:moon:
Of course, credit also goes to the beads, who give it that much extra and totally had me gobsmacked when they were all in place.
As for the moon charm I found it on the dutch version of Ebay which I then painted gold with simple gold nail polish.

I will likely post up detail photo shots at some point seeing as the lighting of this one leaves out much of the golden sparkle. But for now I am enjoying the view of this now framed angel above my monitor.

'Nuff staring, on to the next project!

I've done several of these designs, and I'm currently working though the Celtic Ladies.

Yeah, I'm keeping my eye on you for those maidens! Breath-takingly beautiful. I have also bought the patterns for the angelic seasons she designed and just like you I will be stitching them all one by one in time. :D (Big Grin)

I do hope your winter maiden is next because I've also gotten my hands on that pattern and intend to start stitching it later this year for my mother's birthday. Would be great to see your finished maiden and get a good sense of what I will be putting my fingers through. w00t!  Unless I'm out of luck and you've already started on Spring!

I'm not doing them in 'season' order mostly in order of "What do I need supply wise vs. what's in my stash?"  LOL

Spring is complete…

I'm currently working on Summer, so that leaves Winter or Noel left, I most likely Winter since I have most of those supplies except the fabric, and I don't have the Noel chart at this time...should do something about that.

:flirty: I love how clean your stitchwork is! I'm going to have to look into this designer myself!

But I love more that you used stardate in your timing. :giggle: Wonderful!

Haha yeah, I thought that would be a fun and personal touch. Meow :3 Thanks for your comment!

Marilynn has a few themes in her designs, but the angel and celtic themes she's made are the most beautiful in my opinion.
ShadowWing has stitched several of her celtic maidens actually; absolutely gorgeous!

You're welcome!

Oh, are those the same designer? :happybounce: I've been loving those too! I searched through my patterns and realized I know her as "Lavender & Lace", of which I have two beautiful angels waiting to be done. :flirty: Exciting!
